Baseball Recap: Schoolhouse Prep Beats ABF Academy for Their Third Straight Win

While Schoolhouse Prep's win against ABF Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolfpack never let the Cowboys get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Wednesday. The win was nothing new for the Wolfpack as they're now sitting on three straight.

Not much got past Angel Eysseric, who gave up just three hits and racked up six Ks to keep ABF Academy off the board. Eysseric has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Schoolhouse Prep saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aronny Pirela, who scored a run while going 1-for-2. Pirela also put up a double, which was his first of the season.

Schoolhouse Prep's record is now 10-8. As for ABF Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-10.

Looking ahead, ABF Academy will venture away from home to take on Dr. Krop at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Schoolhouse Prep will be paying especially close attention to the Cowboys' contest: after the Cowboys faces off against Chaminade-Madonna, they'll take on Schoolhouse Prep again at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
