Caprock waltzed into their match on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 5-1 margin over the Lubbock Westerners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in January.

Caprock hit Lubbock with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alyssa Graves (2), Nereida Porras, Sophia Jimenez, and Christina Meza.

The victory got Caprock back to even at 6-6-2. As for Lubbock, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Caprock and Lubbock will both be playing Tascosa the next time they take the pitch. The Longhorns will head out to face the Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Westerners will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
