Basketball Recap: Davis-Romoth Find Success

Davis-Romoth lost to Napaaqtugmiut on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Davis-Romoth Wolves pulled ahead with a 35-34 photo finish over the Napaaqtugmiut Lynx. The 35-point effort marked the Wolves' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Davis-Romoth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Ticket led the charge by putting up 15 points. Lucy Gooden was another key player, posting 11 points.

Despite the loss, Napaaqtugmiut still got an impressive performance from Brooke Schaeffer, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connie Onalik, who had seven points.

Davis-Romoth's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Napaaqtugmiut, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.
