Softball Recap: Clearfield Has No Trouble Against Kanab

Clearfield had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 18-run drubbing they dealt Kanab on Friday. The Clearfield Falcons put the hurt on the Kanab Cowboys with a sharp 20-2 victory.

Emma Dishongh was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Alexandra Bingham, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Clearfield was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.

Clearfield's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Kanab, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Clearfield has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Sky View on the 7th. As for Kanab, they will square off against Piute at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
