Flag Football Recap: Mountain Range Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Mountain Range's offense. They had to suffer through a 46-0 loss at the hands of the Mountain View Mountain Lions. The Mustangs lost against the Mountain Lions in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 39-19 score last time.

Linda Archuleta threw for 100 yards on 20 of 35 attempts.

The critical scores for Mountain View came from Mekayla Macias, Nevaeh Lerit, Hayden Ramberg, Ellen Harting, Charly Schuster-Moore, and Riley Darcy.

Mountain Range's defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Mountain View, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Mountain Range didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-6 loss against Thornton on the 27th. As for Mountain View, they have also already played their next matchup, a 19-14 victory against Legacy on the 24th.
