            Maconaquah came into Friday's   game looking for another win against Southwood, but  Bryce Wilcox wouldn't allow it. The Southwood Knights came out on top in a nail-biter against the Maconaquah Braves on Friday, sneaking past  78-75 thanks to  Wilcox, who  went 12-for-22  on his way to 29 points along with eight  rebounds and three  blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which  he has scored at least a third of Southwood's points.

As for Maconaquah, their  loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-5.
 Southwood didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  63-52  defeat against Madison-Grant on the 15th. As for Maconaquah, they will venture away from home to  take on Northfield  at 7:45  p.m.  on Tuesday. Maconaquah knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Northfield likes a good challenge.
