Baseball Game Preview: Poudre Impalas vs. Northridge Grizzlies

The Poudre Impalas will challenge the Northridge Grizzlies at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Poudre and three for Northridge.

Poudre made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Windsor, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Impalas fell just short of the Wizards by a score of 4-2 on Thursday.

Poudre saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Angelo Vieira, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Severance hit Northridge with a 13-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Grizzlies lost 18-1 to the Silver Knights.

Northridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Poudre, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
