Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Tustin

Tustin waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Segerstrom Jaguars with a sharp 16-5 victory. With that win, the Tillers brought their scoring average up to 6.3 runs per game.

Kobe Ardelean was incredible, going 4-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Angel Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Tustin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Tustin's victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Segerstrom, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Tustin will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Kennedy at 3:15 p.m. As for Segerstrom, they will venture away from home to challenge Laguna Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
