Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Central Takes a Loss

Brookfield Central was the 2-1 winner over West Bend West when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Lancers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Olivia Witon paced Brookfield Central's offense, picking up six kills. Witon got some help from Emma Duff and her 14 assists. Molly Daugherty controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Brookfield Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for West Bend West, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Brookfield Central has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Brookfield East on the 3rd. As for West Bend West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Appleton North on the 30th.
