Armijo came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Florin Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in September.

Armijo never let Florin on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-16, 27-25.

Armijo's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Florin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Armijo is set to face off against their familiar foe West Campus at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Florin will square off against rival Foothill at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
