Volleyball Recap: Custer's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

If Custer was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Newell last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Sturgis Brown Scoopers on Tuesday. The loss was the Wildcats' first of the season.

The final score came out to 25-14, 22-25, 25-14, 25-14.

Having lost for the first time this season, Custer fell to 8-1. As for Sturgis Brown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Coming up, Custer will be playing at home against Hot Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sturgis Brown, they are taking a road trip to take on Pierre T.F. Riggs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
