It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Travelers Rest had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Bluffton Bobcats as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Devildogs as they're now sitting on four straight.

Travelers Rest never let Bluffton on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-18, 25-23.

Bluffton's loss came despite strong showings from Trent Giglio and Cortez Washington. Giglio had 11 digs and one assist, while Washington had 12 kills and eight digs. Washington has been hot, having posted seven or more kills the last seven times he's played. Carlos Garcia was another key player, getting 11 digs.

Travelers Rest's win bumped their record up to 15-9. As for Bluffton, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 15-8.

Looking ahead, Travelers Rest will challenge Oceanside Collegiate Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Bluffton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
