Volleyball Recap: Fremd Gets the Win

After losing to Barrington the last time they met, Fremd decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Vikings walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Fillies/Broncos on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vikings.

Fremd never let Barrington on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-16.

The win got Fremd back to even at 12-12. As for Barrington, they moved to 14-5 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fremd will host Hoffman Estates at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Barrington, they will face off against Glenbrook South at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last four games the Titans have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
