After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Indian Rocks Christian, Atlantic Christian was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Glades Central Raiders with a sharp  10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won five matchups by nine  runs or more  so far this season.
 Landon Moffitt was a major factor no matter where he played. He  didn't allow a single  earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent : he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Micah Herring and  David Gonzalez did most of the damage at the plate:  Herring  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4, while  Gonzalez  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. Atlantic Christian is undefeated when  Gonzalez posts two or  more  runs, but 0-5 otherwise.  Kyle Bradford also deserves some recognition as  he  snagged his first  stolen base of the season.
The  win  got Atlantic Christian back to even at 5-5. As for Glades Central, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Atlantic Christian didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  16-5  victory against Palm Beach Lakes on the 18th. As for Glades Central, they will face off against Pahokee at 6:00  p.m.  on March 20th. Glades Central is facing Pahokee at the right time seeing as Pahokee is stuck on  a  nine-game losing streak.
