Soccer Game Preview: Eagle Ridge Christian vs. Heritage Classical Christian Academy

Eagle Ridge Christian hasn't had much luck against Heritage Classical Christian Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Eagle Ridge Christian will be strutting in after a win while Heritage Classical Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

While Eagle Ridge Christian's victory against Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles won by a goal and slipped past the Crusaders 4-3. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Eagle Ridge Christian's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Heritage Classical Christian Academy challenged Westwood Baptist Academy two weeks ago. The Hawks came up short against the Eagles, falling 4-0. That's two games in a row now that Heritage Classical Christian Academy have lost by exactly four goals.

Eagle Ridge Christian's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Eagle Ridge Christian couldn't quite get it done against Heritage Classical Christian Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
