Baseball Recap: Garinger Comes Up Short

Garinger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Butler Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on Friday.

Garinger's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Butler, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Garinger has already played their next game, a 16-2 defeat against East Mecklenburg on the 11th. As for Butler, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-6 victory against Mallard Creek on the 12th.
