Baseball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for Philomath

After losing to Crescent Valley the last time they met, Philomath decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors walked away with a 6-3 win over the Raiders on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Philomath's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Crescent Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Philomath has already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against La Grande on the 5th. As for Crescent Valley, they will face off against Summit at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Storm have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
