Soccer Recap: Nazareth Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Nazareth Academy and De La Salle squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Nazareth Academy had to settle for second. They lost 8-0 to the Meteors. While losing is never fun, Nazareth Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 326th, while De La Salle are ranked 14th).

Nazareth Academy has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17-1 record this season. As for De La Salle, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-3-1.

Nazareth Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for De La Salle, they will face off against Glenbard South at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
