Basketball Recap: Page Takes a Loss

Page played a tough match on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 62-35 loss at the hands of the Phoenix Country Day Eagles. The Sand Devils were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in December of 2021.

Page moved to 19-10 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points over those games. As for Phoenix Country Day, their victory was their 35th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-5.

While Page had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
