Basketball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

Fairview was the 46-35 winner over Glasgow when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Fairview Warriors took a 52-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Glasgow Scotties on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Scotties are ranked 17th).

Fairview has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Glasgow, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.

Fairview didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 50-47 win against Wolf Point on the 24th. As for Glasgow, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 70-39 victory against Sidney on the 24th.
