Basketball Recap: Northwest Area Snaps 12-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

After flying high against Milton last Friday, Northwest Area came back down to earth. The Northwest Area Rangers fell 64-51 to the Warrior Run Defenders on Saturday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rangers in their matchups with the Defenders: they've now lost three in a row.

Northwest Area's loss ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 2-2. As for Warrior Run, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Northwest Area wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 63-54 victory against Southern Columbia Area on the 9th. As for Warrior Run, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 59-37 win against Jersey Shore on the 11th.
