Basketball Recap: Ingomar's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Ten

With a playoff win on the line, Ingomar rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 46-37 win over the Bay Springs Bulldogs. The 46-point effort marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ingomar to victory, but perhaps none more so than Macie Phifer, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. That's the most boards Phifer has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Phifer, who scored eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.

The victory (which was Ingomar's tenth in a row) raised their record to 31-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points over those games. As for Bay Springs, they moved to 25-6 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Ingomar wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 58-28 win against East Union on the 1st. Bay Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
