Lynn Classical is 9-1 against Everett since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Rams will challenge the Crimson Tide at 4:00 p.m. Lynn Classical will be strutting in after a victory while Everett will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Lynn Classical earned a 6-1 win over Somerville. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Highlanders: they've now won three in a row.

Braeden Ohannesian spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Lynn Classical's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Rolky Brea, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Mark Walsh, who went 1-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Revere.

Lynn Classical's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.8 runs over those games. As for Everett, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Lynn Classical came out on top in a nail-biter against Everett in their previous meeting back in April, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
