Horizon won the last time they faced Fairview and things went their way on Saturday too. The Hawks walked away with a 3-1 win over the Knights. The victory was some much needed relief for the Hawks as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 25-17.

Allison Bailey paced Horizon's offense, picking up 12 kills. Bailey got some help from Annalee Young and her 18 assists. Stephanie Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

When it comes to explaining why Fairview lost, don't look at Peyton Weiss. Despite the final result, she had 29 digs and four assists. Weiss has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more digs the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Meek, who had 12 assists and four digs.

Horizon's win bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Fairview, their loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-18.

As of now, neither Horizon nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
