Softball Recap: Sabino Sabercats vs. San Miguel Vipers
Sabino stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They never let the San Miguel Vipers onto the board and left with a 19-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Sabino.
Sariah Ferrentino was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 11 over four innings pitched. Ferrentino has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Ferrentino was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Renee Williams was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and a triple. Bobbi Valles was another key contributor, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and a triple.
