Southland Christian came out on top against Academy of Central Florida on Monday thanks in part to Ismael Perez's efforts. Perez wasn't messing around, putting up five points along with six rebounds and three steals. The game was also his third straight with two or more steals.

Perez and Southland Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pathways at 6:45 a.m. on March 7th. Perez will face off against Shabiah Gordon, Jr., the Eagles' star forward. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the court.
