Volleyball Game Preview: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Westwood Warriors

The Red Mountain Mountain Lions will face off against the Westwood Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Red Mountain will bounce into Thursday's match after beating Mesa, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Mountain Lions had just enough and edged out the Jackrabbits 3-2.

Meanwhile, Westwood entered their tilt with McClintock on Wednesday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They blew past the Chargers 3-0.

Westwood was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-16.

Red Mountain's victory bumped their record up to 16-11. As for Westwood, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-8.
