Baseball Recap: Liberty Magnet Takes a Loss

Liberty Magnet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 20-2 to the Central Wildcats. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 14-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Liberty Magnet saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Trosclair, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Liberty Magnet now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Central, their win bumped their record up to 20-8.

While Liberty Magnet had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
