Basketball Game Preview: Cooper Bulldogs vs. Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy

The Cooper Bulldogs will venture away from home to take on Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cooper has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Cooper is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Boles 88-48 on Friday. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly 40 points.

Cooper's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jequan Brown, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. Brown's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Beachley Bills, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 16 points and five steals.

Cooper was working as a unit and finished the game with 11 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by North Hopkins 72-40. Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cooper is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Pioneer Technology & Arts Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-12.
