Soccer Game Preview: Cedar Valley vs. Alta

The Cedar Valley Aviators will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Alta Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cedar Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Alta will be coming in after a loss.

If Alta heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Cedar Valley took over last week. The Aviators won by a goal and slipped past Dixie 2-1. That's two games straight that Cedar Valley have won by just one goal.

Olivia Jones and Mckenna Myers scored both of Cedar Valley's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Alta was not quite Cedar's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Reds by a score of 2-1.

Cedar Valley has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Alta, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
