Highlights: Myzel Miller goes from 'Friday Night Tykes' to Friday night lights at Judson

After slow start due to injury, reality TV star is making big contributions for one of the top programs in Texas top.

Sophomore RB/DB for unbeaten Judson is former reality TV star.

Myzel Miller is no reality TV wonder.

The former star of Friday Night Tykes is now a key contributor for the unbeaten Judson (Converse, Texas) team that is 8-0 and ranked No. 10 in the state by MaxPreps.

Now a 5-foot-8, 150-pound sophomore, Miller is a starting defensive back for the Rockets and in six games — he missed a couple contests with an injury — he has 23 tackles and five pass deflections.

Also a running back and returner, Miller has 17 career carries for 78 yards and a touchdown.



Before high school, Miller earned the nicknames "Black Dynamite" and "Miller Time," while playing for the San Antonio Dynamites youth team which was featured on the popular reality TV show.
