Volleyball Recap: Columbus Comes Up Short

Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Galena Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Saturday.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Galena, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-4.

Columbus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against West Elk on the 20th. As for Galena, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Caney Valley on the 20th.
