Softball Recap: Paxton Comes Up Short

If Paxton was feeling good fresh off their 11-1 takedown of Baker last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Paxton Bobcats came up short against the Crestview Bulldogs on Monday, falling 15-3. The defeat continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost four in a row.

Paxton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Phillips, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Paxton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Crestview, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Paxton didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-4 win against Cottondale on the 11th. As for Crestview, they have also already played their next match, a 10-5 defeat against Jay on the 11th.
