Softball Recap: Catawba Ridge Picks Up 22nd Straight Win at Home

Catawba Ridge faced Indian Land in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Copperheads' pitchers stepped up to hand the Warriors a 10-0 shutout. The Copperheads' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matches.

Catawba Ridge pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. As for Indian Land, they moved to 8-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
