Basketball Game Preview: Keenan Raiders vs. Swansea Tigers

The Keenan Raiders will head out to challenge the Swansea Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Keenan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Keenan turned things around against Dutch Fork on Tuesday. They secured a 69-64 W over the Silver Foxes.

Meanwhile, Swansea was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their 34th straight defeat dating back to last season. The matchup between them and Pelion didn't end well, with Swansea falling 53-34. The Tigers were down 39-19 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Despite the loss, Swansea saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Zyshawn Jamison posted 20 points. That was a full 58.8% of Swansea's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Keenan's victory was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.4 points per game. As for Swansea, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.
