Volleyball Recap: Valley Christian Takes a Loss

Valley Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Making Waves Academy Marlins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marlins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-9.

Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Making Waves Academy, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Valley Christian and Making Waves Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Vikings see the court they'll take on Quarry Lane at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Making Waves Academy, their break will end when they face California Crosspoint at 4:30 p.m. on the 16th.
