Soccer Recap: STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley Takes a Loss

STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Hazelwood West Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Hazelwood West this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-0 back in September.

STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Hazelwood West, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coincidentally, STEAM Academy at McCluer South Berkeley and Hazelwood West will both be playing McCluer the next time they take the pitch. The Bulldogs will host the Comets at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wildcats will head out to face them at 4:15 p.m. on Friday.
