Soccer Recap: Chaparral Takes a Loss

If Chaparral was feeling good fresh off their 5-2 takedown of Ellison last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chaparral Bobcats lost 4-0 to the Bowie Bulldogs on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 460th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 62nd).

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11-2. As for Bowie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6-2.

Coming up, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Chaparral duke it out with Temple at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bowie, they will take on Glenn at 12:00 p.m. on Monday.
