Softball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 18-2 to the Moody Bearcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on March 5th.

Hamilton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Kelley, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. Ashley Mann also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Moody, their victory bumped their record up to 10-7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will host Jonesboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Moody, they will face off against Crawford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
