Baseball Recap: Bucyrus Redmen vs. Upper Sandusky Rams

Bucyrus had lost 14 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 0-16 to make it 15. They came up short against the Upper Sandusky Rams, falling 27-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on Monday.

As for Upper Sandusky, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Upper Sandusky's part, Josh Heilman was a standout: he got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and one RBI.
