Soccer Recap: Claiborne Comes Up Short

Claiborne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 10-1 to the Cherokee Chiefs. While losing is never fun, Claiborne can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 303rd, while Cherokee are ranked 86th).

Claiborne's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Cherokee, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Claiborne will face off against Volunteer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cherokee, they will square off against Providence Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
