Baseball Recap: Harmony Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Harmony's offense. They fell just short of the Hagerty Huskies by a score of 1-0 on Thursday. The Longhorns just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Harmony saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Scrofani, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base.

Harmony's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Hagerty, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Harmony and Hagerty should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. Harmony will take on Rockledge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday up 94 places (48 vs. 142). The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Harmony 4.1, Rockledge 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Hagerty (ranked 13th) will meet Lake Howell (ranked 205th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
