Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. Franklin

The Lincoln Tigers will face off against the Franklin Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Lincoln is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight matches on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to Bravo.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Franklin's offense. They lost 3-0 to Marshall on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, Franklin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 759th, while Marshall are ranked 182nd).

Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Franklin, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-4-2.
