Softball Recap: Three Straight Home Victories for C.H. Yoe

C.H. Yoe's tournament run continued when they took on Richardson on Saturday. The C.H. Yoe Yoemen walked away with a 6-2 win over the Richardson Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yoemen.

Diana Salomon was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Josie Laureano, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

C.H. Yoe was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are 5-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

C.H. Yoe's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Richardson, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, C.H. Yoe will welcome Nimitz at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Richardson, they will face off against Livingston at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Livingston will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Richardson surely won't give up without a fight.
