Softball Recap: Westgate Comes Up Short

Westgate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the David Thibodaux Bulldogs, falling 16-0. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 18-2 to the Bulldogs when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Westgate's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for David Thibodaux, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-12.

Westgate didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 20-0 loss against St. Thomas More on the 27th. As for David Thibodaux, they have also already played their next matchup, a 6-5 defeat against Southside on the 26th.
