Baseball Recap: Lisbon Comes Up Short in High-Profile Match with Park River

Lisbon faced Park River in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Broncos took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Aggies. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lisbon saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordyn Bittner, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Park River, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Lisbon will be playing at home against Enderlin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Broncos are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Park River, they are taking a road trip to square off against Langdon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
