Chancellor has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the Courtland Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Chancellor knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past six contests -- so hopefully Courtland likes a good challenge.
Even though Powhatan scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Chancellor still came out on top. Chancellor took their match against Powhatan 66-56.
Larell Edwards was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Charles Brown was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six assists.
Meanwhile, Courtland was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 55-54 to Eastern View.
Chancellor is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. As for Courtland, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-7.
