Baseball Recap: Riverview Comes Up Short

The Riverview Raiders didn't have quite enough to beat the Jacksonville Titans on Thursday and fell 4-2.

Riverview's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Jacksonville, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10-1.

Coming up, Riverview will challenge Mountain View at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.93 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Jacksonville, they will square off against Forrest City at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
