Basketball Recap: Zimmerman Comes Up Short

After flying high against Big Lake last Tuesday, Zimmerman came back down to earth. The Zimmerman Thunder were beaten by the Becker Bulldogs 89-37 on Thursday. The Thunder haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.

Zimmerman's loss dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Becker, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zimmerman will host Chisago Lakes Area at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Becker, they and Albany will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 1:15 p.m. on Saturday.
