Basketball Recap: Greenville Comes Up Short

Greenville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were dealt a 47-20 defeat at the hands of the Bangor Christian Patriots. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lakers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 45-14 back in December of 2024.

Greenville's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Bangor Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.

Greenville will be playing at home against Stearns at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bangor Christian, they will face off against Schenck at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Bangor Christian's defense has only allowed 26.6 points per game this season, so Schenck's offense will have their work cut out for them.
